The Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 pre-ASPH (late Germany) uses a classic 7 elements / 5 groups spherical double-Gauss design, intentionally under-corrected to favor rendering over perfection.

It delivers a signature glow and soft contrast at f/1.4, with smooth bokeh and strong subject separation; stopping down brings solid sharpness and more modern contrast. The late German version benefits from improved coatings and better material, giving cleaner contrast while retaining its vintage character.

Performance is character-driven, and with limited late production, it remains increasingly rare and collectible.

●Appearance condition

The lens Body is in Mint condition. Show minimum sign of use, no ding or dent.

●Optics Condition

The lens glass is pristine as mint, with No haze, fungus, and free of scratches.

It might have a little dust which no effect any images. It’s very beautiful after many years.

●Functional

Focusing is very smooth, aperture click. Focus is sharp in Digital sensor also film body.
