The Leica M2 was launched in 1957 as a simpler, more affordable version of the popular M3 model. With 35mm frame line, the M2 became a favorite among photographers, especially street photographers and photojournalists, for its compact size and reliable manual controls. Production ceased in 1968, but the M2 remains highly regarded for its historical importance and enduring appeal.

● Appearance condition

The body is in beautiful condition. Vulcanite is original. Minimum sign of use, nothing deep.

● Optics Condition for finder

The viewfinder is pristine, No haze and no fungus. The rangefinder is working very well.

● Functional Condition

Camera were clad (Lube, clean, and calibrate). All functions working perfectly.

The shutter speed working accurately. the Shutter curtain was replaced to new curtain.

・ EXC (excellent) 76-84% Shows some signs of use – Lens Glass may have marks & some dust which will be unlikely to affect picture quality.

・ GOOD-USER 65-75%Appears well used and may include dings, brassing, scrapes and bruises but is in functional condition. Glass may have cleaning marks or small scratches which may affect picture quality.
